You know that long range ki attacks could be dodged or evaded with speed equalized no? And iirc they can be bounced back in DBZ by physical attacks. And then there's the issue of stamina. I don't believe in the jump punch tactic but I'm sure a shockwave from afar would take care of that distance.

saitama is REALLY CASUALLY at yamcha's level. i assume they're both 5-B right? so saitama can casually spam planet level punches while yamcha would have to put in a lot of effort for the same level of attacks. not to mention that saitama is likely far higher than planet level so yeah.. he definitely takes this. saitama would probably go easy at first, but when he realizes how powerful yamcha is, he'll step up his game and quickly end the fight
