Yamamoto shikai is more than enough to send Whitebeard to teh afterlife as even Magma was enough, Yamamoto Zanpakuto is based upon the Sun if his bankai is 15mil degree his shikai is also not regular fire, his bankai is based on the suns core while his shikai has feats to put it as hot as the surface of the sun which is give or take 6000 degree C.
