Xenomorph Regenerationn

So, this video details how the Xenomorph in Covenant (or the Protomorph) can regenerate (from being crushed and dismembered, so High-Mid), as stated by Ridley Scott in the movie's commentary track.

I'm not sure if we can apply this; it's never shown, Xenomorphs are killed by much less in other movies and we can't take Word of God at face value without canonical evidence, even if we can come to reasonable interpretations through this, as that would lead to inflated statistics.

Like, come on, Predators have made killing Xenomorphs a rite of passage (apparently for millennia) and they don't reduce them to pools of blood, they just blast them and rip the head off and that's dead to them. Even if we should accept it it should only apply to the Protomorph.

Unrelated but I don't know where the Mid-Low Regenerationn comes from.
 
If word of god is contradicted by on screen shown feats, it should probably be disregarded.
