Xantis Immortality Question

So, I have a question about immortality, specifically on a character named Xantis. So, in Eliatopia, Xantis used the many brains of the planet to transfer his consciousness into many bodies, essentially making himself immortal. To do this, he relies on a Sacred Energy Crystal, which is basically the link between the material plane and the spirit plane (the latter which consciousnesses reside.) In the game, it was stated that consciousnesses essentially last forever. What type or types of Immortality is this?

Maybe immortality type 6. because he won't die as long as his consciousness keeps changing bodies
