Would Black Mesa (The Half-Life Fan Remake) Be Allowed?

Black Mesa is obviously a fan-made remake of the original Half-Life, but what makes it stand out from some other fan-made remakes is that it actually has some approval from the company behind the original game that was remade, as Valve (the company behind Half-Life) reached out to Black Mesa's dev team to ask them if they wanted to become an official licensee for the Source Engine (as stated by Black Mesa's project leader in this interview), and Black Mesa would also later become a retail product on Steam (which is owned by Valve themselves). So what I'm wondering is: Could we potentially get Black Mesa onto the wiki as its own separate canon, similar to other officially approved fan-made content like The Joy of Creation or Slender: The Eight Pages?

Apologies for the wait.

No, it wouldn't be, even notable and/or published for profit fan material isn't allowed. The Joy of Creation example is close, except that was indeed brought into the FNAF canon by some project or other, I looked into it some time ago- which while Black Mesa was offered a somewhat similar opportunity, it does not appear to have been made officially recognized by Valve. Being on Steam also probably isn't enough, I think.

Thank you for answering, however I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "officially recognized by Valve"? If you could clarify then I think that would be all.
