The dog doesn't have a way to tell if Woody is actually dead.

And Woody can still use a knife.

He has ten minutes, is small, and has low lifting strength. I don't know what he's going to do in that time with that limitation.

Dogs normally just rip the **** outta toys if they want them anyways. Honestly he may end up biting Woody's head off because dog.

And Woody can use a knife but that doesn't mean he'll wield it easily or skillfully

He could swing around a lamp with little issue, he would stabb the dog in self defense.

Woody seems to be stronger than the aliens, he was only overpowered when many of them AND "the claw" teamed up on him. After that, we see one of the aliens get attacked by a much bigger dog.

After that, in this video: https://youtu.be/eePDPtUUG7s (at 1:38) we see the same alien, and he is pretty okay...

Also the alien was made out of a different material than woody. The aliens are literally squeaky toys.

The dog has no way to tell if Woody is alive or dead and Woody can survive a bite or being thrown around until the dog gets bored of him

That depends on the damage the dog does.

That's true, in Toy Story 2, when Woody's arm was cut, he completely lost control over it.

But Ted is right, the dog will get bored of Woody, since he is not bloodlusted, and then Woody will get a chance to make a trap, or at least grab a weapon. He did it with Sid's dog, can't see why he couldn't here.
