I feel like speed should be equalized if she has over x2 edge considering both are melee fighters, otherwise idk what the Dire Wolf can do

Anyways assuming that it’s equalized I’ll list edges for both sides:

Dire Wolf:
Larger
Better LS (So if it grabs her by the throat she can’t really escape)
More skilled (On top of being innately skilled with bites it’s also due to how CR works expected to fight 4 adventurers with various abilities on its own that are on par with it stat wise)
Resists Animal Manipulation

Mebh Óg MacTíre:
Smarter (Although idk how relevant that is)
Could summon other wolves to aid her
Probably more agile so even with speed equal she’s more likely to dodge attacks, especially with the size difference
Better AP

Anyways I lean towards Dire Wolf here

She could escape being grabbed by the throat by just summoning wolves to aid her, no? And since she's quite familiar with how wolves fight and is innately dodge-y would it not be more likely that Dire gets overwhelmed by all the other wolves with higher AP coming at him?

They can attack it sure but idfk how they stop it from grabbing her when they also have inferior LS, and mind you it's a really large disparity so more numbers ain't helping here

Are the wolves equal to her in stats?
Either way the wolf is still more skilled in that melee thing so meh
