Voting the Witcher here atm. Geralt likely has the better skill feats, having decades of swordmanship under his belt and having faced many foes who could one shot him. Tanjiro's precog is gonna make it a pain for Geralt to tag him however Geralt will eventually resort to his signs once he realises his approach isn't working and can use Quen, Axii and Heliotrope to win the battle of attrition.

Most of the match ups involving Geralt boils down to time and how much the opponent takes until Geralt basically uses everything he has. (I.e. leading to the old "Axii GG")

Geralt in most matchups is at the start-up about average, not even using any of his fancy stuff if the opponent is also wielding a sword. Do something fancy or try to out-range him and you've activated Geralt's entire arsenal. Quen is just broken as **** as it can be used in two modes: 1. as near indestructible bubble shield 2. A weaker passive body shield which can tank a few hits while allowing Geralt to be on the offensive, not to mention his other signs. His B&W key also makes him jump into High 8-C overtime by using his potions (which already give him buffs to begin with).

There is also the skill issue. Literally. Not to downplay the merits of Tanjiro as it is very clear he's a fast learner and an extremely skilled sword wielder but Geralt is literally in-universe called the best swordsman into the entire world. There is basically no equal to him, bar Eskel or Vesemir. Precognition is a very useful hax for Tanjiro to counteract anything that Geralt tries to throw at him but it isn't helpful towards making him get any hits on Geralt either. Geralt, much like Tanjiro, also learns and adapts throughout the battle and is as much of a swift learner as he is.

I'd give this to Geralt. it isn't completely one-sided as Tanjiro does start off strong but overtime he'll be overwhelmed by just being out-stated basically.

Something something, has it because he scared Daki. I don't know. I'll look for it's reasons and how it works tomorrow.

Does Witcher have an answer for this?
The Wild Hunt specters have something similar to this but they either make the person go completely mad or have amnesia in the case of Geralt. Although to note, Geralt was exposed to the Wild Hunt specters for a long period of time and even fought them to a standstill.

Other side effects are negated by the natural witcher physiology.

I'mma have to vote for Geralt as I never saw anything on how Tanjiro's Aura thing works so I feel like Geralt's experience as a sword fighter and wider tool set gets him a win
