So, this one might be a little interesting. So, we have a Wildcat and we have the Domestic Cat. The wildcat is considered the ancestor of the domestic cat. The domestic cat, on the other hand, is responsible for the extinction of many bird and small animal species. Now, this is where things would get interesting...
See, on average, a wildcat would go 5-8 kg on average. On the other hand, while cats weigh on average 4-5 kg. It should be noted that just like there are dogs larger than wolves (like the Great Dane and the Tibetan Mastiff), there are breeds of domestic cat that are larger than the wildcat. One of the largest breeds is the Maine ****, which weighs 8.2 to 10 kg. Problem is I don't think the Maine **** is exactly built for hunting unlike the wildcat.
