Why was hellfire manipulation deleted?

Because hellfire isn't a set concept, it varies from fiction to fiction and can be greatly different properties, sometimes it can even be just common fire with a funky name.

It was decided to put on profiles only Fire Manip + whatever additional abilities such fire has.

Why not make it a a sub ability of fire manipulation?

Because it's entirely redundant with Fire Manip at that point when its trait is just being a glorified category at best for our purposes.

But a sub ability still works since characters legit have fire from hell and it’s way different from normal fire.

Thing is these differences can't be standarized, and often there's not even any differences showcased for our purposes, it'd be inappropiate to inherently give powers to something out of its origin, by that logic we'd make any verse with Cthulhu Mythos characters inherently scale to the real deal.

It still doesn’t work how will it compensate for verses that legit use super natural otherworldly flames.

By just specifying whatever it has been displayed to do, using other power pages, as much as we do to a verse specific power.
