Why isn’t MCU Thor FTL?

LaT character should be at least FTL due to this feat https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...Fight_Gamer/Jane_Foster_circumnavigates_Earth

Thor’s profile has the 1 hour version listed

But taking a look at the feat in question https://imgur.io/a/Xmm8X1S

It seems that the amount of time it takes for Thor to squat down and take a few steps is the amount of time it takes for Jane to search the Earth, I don’t see why the 8 second version shouldn’t be listed.

Even if we assumed the time by using the principles of an already accepted similar feat (that being this one: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...ght_Gamer/Captain_Marvel_recons_Planet_0259-S ) then we would still have Jane at 1.41x FTL.

Actually, the scene itself shows you why. When the scene ends it's still rather dark and when she comes back the sun has now rose and its morning. The only way the 8-Second end would work is if the sun was already rising in the scene before the cut, but it was not.

No because if you read the Relativistic+ wnd for Captain marvel and low end for Jane's feat are the ones that are accepted so there's nothing to agree to here

Well the clip never shows Jane leaving so you could still try to assume a shorter time.

In which case, 6 hours is a safe bet, though Norway's location might make it weird.
You can use this site to get an estimation. According to the MCU wiki's math, Love and Thunder took place between May 26th to May 28th, which would give them something like 17 hours of sunlight a day.

We just need an approximate timeframe of when exactly the sun would rise up.

M

I agree, low and high end calculations are more appropriate in the range of 4-8, average 6 is the most appropriate as you said.

The others have addressed this, so I have nothing more to say.

2 minute end was accepted, which is only Relativistic+. If the 30 second end was accepted or the on-screen timeframe (which was around 22 - 24 seconds) was used and accepted, it would have been FTL
