why exacly does the time eater have causality manip?

Probably the Causality manipulation comes from the Time Eater being able to erase history and rearrange multiple different timelines at once, if I can renember right, Eggman stated in the game that he would use the powers of this beast to undo his previous defeats in multiple ocasions at once, that's one of the instances showed out.
