Am I missing some I don't important detail regarding why is this the case?
According to statements from Image creators, characters in crossovers are not the "main" version of the character and are just alternate versions of them. The point being that no one author can ever notably impact another author without their permission, unlike with DC/Marvel where sometimes you'll have to accommodate for an Avenger or Superman storyline for example even if you don't want to.

So we don't scale any feats from crossovers to Image characters. Especially if it causes scaling chain issues.

I don't really understand how is this even a crossover when they are both from the same Image Comics universe lol.

They have different authors and owners between the two. Which is why I mentioned the rule.

As I said, they're part of a general Image multiverse, but that doesn't mean that the mainline canon version of those characters can scale to each other.
Would this case also apply to Superman and Mr. Majestic?
