Why do some legendary pokemon have invulnerability?

They almost certainly shouldn't.

Huge swathes of Pokémon profiles are incorrect for one reason or another.

Yup I agree
Outdated and incorrect at times.

Invulnerability for Articuno and Hoopa shouldn't be. I also saw Invulnerability for Dialga and Palkia. I still don't know where that came from

I don't think Palkia or Dialga even qualify.

Invulnerability is the AP version of Durability Negation.
It's when conventional attacks are resisted regardless of AP (within reason).

People commonly give to characters falsely just for having high durability.

I believe there's canon examples of all the legendaries fighting with AP attacks, which would contradict them having invulnerability.

I suspect their Invulnerability comes from certain TCG cards. They do have Invulnerability cards, like Arceus Metal Barrier but I don't know the standards for adding tcg abilities/moves to Pokémon. Pretty Iffy. Some have tcg moves, others don't , some have Mystery dungeon moves, others don't.

Well the problem is that it's contradicted by other sources, and so I have to believe it's just game mechanics.

So is this something that would likely have to get removed?
If you could stick around for about a year maybe someone will think to do that

Getting things revised for Pokémon is always a slow, process.......... There's currently about 3 Pokémon crt that's just stuck limbo
