Won't anyone say Rinnegan>Sharingan and say Pain>Itachi because of it? In my country Turkey, Pain vs Itachi debates usually happen like this. Anyway, it's a debatable issue if you ask me. If we assume that Itachi's Part1 version is stronger than Edo Itachi, Itachi wins. But if we don't assume Part1 Itachi is stronger than Edo Itachi, he is just a character who is superior to Orochimaru and Jiraiya and weaker than Minato. In this wiki, Sage Naruto>Hokage Minato is taken, if I'm not mistaken. I find this very wrong, but I'm too lazy to create a CRT about it.

With genjutsu not being a viable option, Itachi's biggest wincon is the Totsuka Blade. However Nagato has various ways of combating this, such as relying on summons, or using Shinra Tensei. Itachi's Yata Mirror presents a big problem for Nagato though. Perhaps ningendo can get around it?
