Hetalia characters have one of the most confusing forms of immortality. Each character embodies a nation and their very culture. If the character is killed in battle -- they're still alive. Characters who died a thousand years ago are still alive because of this...but are still considered dead. It's weird.
A lot of the Royal Knights have really vague powers that are rarely actually used outside of the lore, which has made several vs threads regarding them a bit hectic. Magnamon, Jesmon and Alphamon in particular.
