Also shouldn't it give acausality? As Alien X would be unaffected by past change here (saving dinosaurs causing humanity to not exist including ben but alien x would still be there and ben as well, he won't be dumb enough to kill himself)

It's not enough to get acausality and it looks like a simple time travel.
