What would this be called?

When Papyrus died, everyone in Snowdin Town, in one way or another, felt his death occur and became sad because of it. So what would that mean in terms of Powers and Abilities? Fear Manipulation or Mind Manipulation?

If his death actually Force/Made them sad then I think is Empathic Manipulation

Note: My phone won't load the video, that's why I said if it Forcibly Made them feel sad then it would be Empathy Manipulation.

Unless he was trying to warn the other villagers to stay as far away from Frisk as possible. Which unironically makes me sad too.

Well I don't know the Verse so I can't really say much, sorry.

All I can say is that...

1. His death gives off this side effect

2. He died and as a soul he manipulated everyone with Empathy Manipulation and made them to feel sad.

Again I don't know the verse and I can't load the video, sorry I can't be more helpful.

But if they are sad because he isn't around it's not necessary for him to be dead. The same thing would happen if he decided to stay closed in his house without telling anyone what he is doing.

They are just sad because a friend is missing.
