... Pacifying an ocean?

No, there isn't any kind of context or stuff. It is a RPG item description, and all that it stated was, and I quote, "Adult form of water vermis capable of pacifying oceans".

Of course, I assume that said "pacifying" is instantaneous. I think it may be Continent level, but I am not sure.

Oh, I'd also like to know what is the needed tier to:

• A being of a human's proportions survive being submerged in lava.
• If possible, the energy that lava emits per second (Heat-energy conversion).
• Incinerating someone (Reducing someone to ashes, and to a crabonized skeleton).

If this character can manipulate the oceans it could be continent level. But it depends to what extent. Need more specifics.

1. I think theirs two methods of going about this. The Potential Energy of the Ocean and the Kinetic Energy of the Ocean. Since it says Oceans and not Ocea, I'll use the Arctic Ocean as a lowball.

A) Potential Energy.

The Artic Ocean has a max depth of 5,450 Meters and a volume of 18,750,000 km^3 (1.875e+16 m^3). Lastly, Saltwater has a density of 1027 kg/m^3. So:

1.875e+16 * 1027 = 1.925625e+19 kg

PE = mgh

M = 1.925625e+19

G = 9.8

H = 5,450

1.925625e+19 * 9.8 * 5,450 = 1.0284763e+24 J

B) Kinetic Energy

The Ocean currents has a speed of 4 mph, or 1.7 m/s.

KE = M * 0.5 * V^2

1.925625e+19 * 0.5 * 1.7^2 = 2.7825281e+19 J
