What was that window made out of Plastic?Wokistan said:I have done that by mistake when I was 6 by throwing a rubber ball. Didn't shatter or whatever but was very cracked and we had to buy a new one. Guess it depends how thoroughly it breaks because me being 10-A as a 6 year old seems weird.

Wouldn't that scenario imply the entire sheet of glass was destroyed, and not just the point of impact (with the rest the edges cracked but intact, assuming they don't succumb to gravity)?Robot972 said:Quickly looked at some standard sizes.
The violent fragmentation of a 36x36 (36.5 cm on either side) sheet of glass (1,074.393 cm^3) would be Street Level (805.79 joules) while the pulverization of said sheet would be Wall Level (1,074,393.01 joules).
Same tiers for two sheets of glass (full window)
