What results would melting a planet yield?

As the title says, I’m curious as to what results you’d get if you calced a planet (let’s say Earth, for simplicity) melting.

One thing though:

A planet can be liquid or even gas at some parts. So the planet can be partially molten by itself.

If you want to calculate the energy required to melt the remaining solid part, find the volume, density, material composition, and the heat required to raise above freezing point plus latent heat of fusion.

In the case of our Earth, this will mean calculation of heat required to melt the Earth crust.
