What Kind of Acausality is This?

Say there's a character who relies on something in order to exist, and that thing is the reason they were ever created to begin with. If this character is stated to have existed prior to the existence of that thing, would that grant acausality, and if so, what kind?

if you erase that thing from ever existing would he also cease to exist retroactively even if he was before that thing existence?

Basically the timeline goes more so like this:
He already exist>Thing that made him even exist prior to the thing own creation in the first place starts existing>it causes him to exist retroactively and continues existing
But if you did this.
He already exist>You avoid thing that makes him exist cease from existing>???
he retroactively cease to exist or?
