Why is a character who resisted gravity through lifting strength resistance to gravity manipulation?

Why are those unaffected by changes in gravity not given density manipulation?

I feel like Resistance to gravity manipulation shouldn’t exist. We have stuff like power nullification, density manipulation and lifting strength. I rarely see Density manipulation in P&As

Resistance to Gravity is a thing, there are multiple character who unaffected by the law of science or physic in their verse will also resist gravity hax. Resist it via LS can also be considered as an unconventional resistance type.

Power Null is different, they null power

Yeah but people tend to treat gravity nullification, density manipulation and Lifting Strength as resistance to gravity manipulation.

So like, what’s an example of just resistance to gravity manipulation

Well, if you have gravity resistance or nullification you can avoid being deformed or even moved from your position by the gravity. Instead with density manipulation you can only compensate the deformation caused by gravity mantaining fixed your body density. In one case you're stopping the source, in the other you're balancing the effect of gravity. They are different things. Moreover density manipulation is usally much more limited than what I've described.
