What cloud type seems most appropriate?

I plan on doing a calculation of an explosion. Said cloud is larger than nearby clouds. But I don't know what type of cloud should be used. I'm thinking between Cirrus and Cumulus

Also when comparing the explosion to the clouds, which cloud should I use as a reference to get the radius of the explosion?

I think so too, just wanted to be sure. Also, a question I forgot to add initially; when you get the diameter of an explosion, do you get the diameter of the widest part of an explosion?
I think you have to find the shape of the explosion first and go on from that, but you better ask calc group members on that

Bump (Also, here's the shape of the explosion I'm attempting to calc. If you know which part I'm supposed to measure, I need to know that)
