What advantages do characters with transduality have over characters without transduality?

Transduality is essentially another version of invulnerability but with more hax (similar but fundamentally different from let's say acausality type 5).

Type 4 is a direct upgrade over type 3 since you're beyond duality and transduality (kinda like how conceptual manipulation type 2 is a straight upgrade from type 3).

Also this page already gives a good explanation of the differences between type 3 and type 4.
