What ability is this?

At first it sounds like blatant attack reflection but this made me think that if there's a page for manipulating a source's innate power or something?

was it like a beam struggle or was he trying to negate her from casting?
"Flames on her body suddenly took the form of a serpent, and shot itself at Sun Wukong. The Monkey King’s attempt to parry the fire was to no avail; the blazing serpent coiled itself around his body, and absorbed his power. Wukong had no option but to sit in meditation, trying to utilize his internal pneuma to resist the flame’s erosion. However, her power gradually overrode Wukong’s; his body began to fall into the Goddess’ control, as if she understood the Monkey King’s body more than he himself did."

more Wukong feats nice
its seems like attack reflection, sounds like he could also get Limited? resistance against possesion/power absorption

I assume that comes before the previous one you sent? If so it's safe to just call it attack reflection, just in a different way of using it.
might be argued as a passive form of it with the addition of cm type 1 shown as he got it from cultivation of the Tao and upon enlightenment

"All is nothingness. Form is no different from formlessness; formlessness is no different from form. Form is formlessness; formlessness is form. All life shares the same form. The Great Sage had finally learned to cultivate Tao, the universal principle"

im only reading this from the excerpt you sent, if it states Wukong as an enlightened negged the goddess flames then yes he should get resistances.
