Water gun attack speed

Looking at an article on different water guns, most of the decent quality ones tend to have an effective range of ~35 feet (10.668 m), high power ones have a range of ~70 ft (21.336 m), and weaker ones (like spring based ones) a range of ~15 feet (4.572 m).
Assuming they were being held at a shoulder height around 1.45 m and fired at a 45 degree angle when testing, the speeds would be: 9.59683m/s, 13.99714m/s, and 5.8344m/s respectively (without accounting for air resistance).
