It seems that a bloodlusted Wario would start with Hypnosis, and DDD doesn't have mind hax resistance like Kirby or MK because... he is constantly possessed or something?
DDD could one-shot him due to scaling to half galaxy level beings, but he gets haxed before that, voting Wario.

I made a thread regarding the abilities of Mario characters awhile back. Wario has tons of abilities he can perform by dancing, and should also be able to hurt intangible beings and souls. Really useful abilities, really.

Genius Wario can likely detect Invisible Dedede. (but will any hax obtained in Master of Disguise be allowed since Wario cannot take anything outside the Silver Zephyr verse but Master of Disguise is a game in Wario's name and Wario is the main protagonist)
Side note: Invisible Wario can be reverted to normal by getting hit from Dedede and Dedede has AoE attacks that can shake off Wario's invisibility. Many power-ups and forms of Wario and Dedede actually counter each other. This WILL be an interesting fight.
And to Wario's hypnosis advantage: Wario only hypnotised the citizens of Mario Land with a magic spell once, before the beginning of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Does that means he could only hypnotise certain characters and will fail on other characters? He does not have shown such power on other people or in other game stories.
This aside, this seems inconclusive, but I would give King Dedede the win based on experience:
1. Many major enemies defeated by Wario are planetary level at best, while King Dedede took part in stopping multi-solar system level threats.
2. King Dedede has seen crazy hax from his many confrontations with Kirby and hax from Wario should not be very new to him.
Off-topic: The final boss battle music in Master of Disguise surprisingly fits in the battle of Wario vs King Dedede.

Dedede's Empathic Manipulation is better. Wario only uses hypnosis in Mario Land 2 (well, also in the commercials tries to hypnotize the viewer, but I don't think that's canon)
