While scaling the country itself might be okay, scaling Onigashima is not. First, it is clearly not that large; second places on the map are not to scale as we can clearly see from the fact that other places on the map are not to scale, just look at trees Atayama mountain, and mines. And we see later that capital is quite bit bigger than Onigashima but here Onigashima is bigger.

Iirc there's shots from the floating island angles that make Wano look 5000KM + even from the shore to the center capital, so the country map is likely not accurate.
