On one hand, I understand the logic that led to the decisions in the bans. On the other hand, the process of which it happened involved a lot of funny things, optically speaking.

Tbh the whole situation could've and should've been handled much more professionally with a fair measure of tact considering the different so called "social norms" peeps go through across the world (heck English isn't even my native tongue yet I know this an English speaking forum) yet this is foremost an indexing site for fictional characters however real issues often bleed in and that's when the controversy starts with seldom a clean conclusion (from my pass observations).
I guess another pet peeve is peanut gallery shenanigans that often lead to derailing (something I've too been gulity of indulging into as well).

For the record, I have never claimed to be a good debater, or to be very competent at handling social drama situations. I just continuously try to help keep our wiki and forum running properly with the time I have available, and there were no perfect solutions for the RVR thread mess, especially not ones that would make everybody happy, given the conflicting agitated viewpoints regarding these issues, so our staff just had to try our best to find a compromise solution. 
Also, Strym and Fujiwara only received very temporary bans, to make them take the need for behaviour improvements seriously. They will both be able to return quite soon.
However, as Deagonx suggested, I removed Fujiwara's ability to respond further to this particular thread, as she seems to keep using it to deliberately stir up controversy and agitation, which causes problems both for our community as a whole and for herself.
Also, Strym and Fujiwara only received very temporary bans, to make them take the need for behaviour improvements seriously. They will both be able to return quite soon.
However, as Deagonx suggested, I removed Fujiwara's ability to respond further to this particular thread, as she seems to keep using it to deliberately stir up controversy and agitation, which causes problems both for our community as a whole and for herself.

Well, there seems to be a very high risk that she would keep stirring up community-destabilising trouble through it, which would also force us to gradually give her increasingly longer bans, so it seems unwise to let her continue to comment here.
