Yeah no. Methuselah keep living through his own willpower (even though he was gonna die anyway it's a very good willpower feat) and went on to have a fight against Wilhelm again. Yes he does die because of the spear but not literally seconds after that.

Reinhard Spear in Interview still emits pressure that's for all things in the same value of Meth. And he didn't immediatly throw it up.
