Now, I don't completely hate it, but probably DBS. When I first watched the anime, I enjoyed it and it was fun, but after watching for the 5th time, I see all the issues it had narratively, logically, etc. Basically, it's not nearly as good as I thought it was, hence why I'm not too interested in it (tho, DBZ is the best verse in fiction, fight me *******)

Another thing I used to like, but now hate was Dies Irae's anime (Ik the fans are like, "what anime? All we see is garbage!" And believe me, I agree). I originally started with that because I couldn't find the actual visual novel, and I enjoyed it, it didn't make much sense, but I definitely enjoyed it. However, now I can't even look at it after already reading the VN. It's narrative is incredibly flawed, the animation is absolute shit, character designs aren't that good, and the english dub voice acting was honestly not very good for me.

I think DB had a lot of the quiet stuff and focused more on martial arts and technique than just powering up and stuff. DBZ was more fun, tho

Exactly. Remember that old website DBZ.TV? That really helped me discover it, as I didn't know there was a series before DBZ.
It had good fights, and great villains.
I binged it several times.
DBZ was came along and brought sci-fi and fantasy to the table, and moved a bit back from the Martial Arts and technique.
I miss that website
