Cartoon Venom has way better lifting strength, so he should easily win a grapple.

Can he eat a symbiote to get past the regen like Sony Venom does?

Im no SSM expert, but i'd assume since its venom he could, probably take a bit considering the sheer size of sony vemon

If he can get past the regen somehow, then I think he takes this pretty handedly.

So... one of these vemons has reaction times like 10000x their travel speed with an unlisted combat speed.

Doesn't matter, speed is equalized
Guess, what, doesn't matter.

"The combat speed of that faster character is assumed to be equalized to the combat speed of the slower character. Every other speed the faster character has is reduced by the same multiplier. This includes the speed of any attacks, projectiles, reactions, perception, flight etc." ~ Versus Thread Rules

I don't see what your point is, this says the other speed types are also included.

AKA, if our vemonous fighter here doesn't have combat speed near his reactions, he quite literally sees Sony as a statue.

Speed is equalized based on combat speed, not travel speed.

I'm just going to ask someone to clarify the speed equalization rules.
The "multiplier" thing could create some really confusing and unfair scenarios, such as a slower character becoming even slower than normal while the other character stays the same speed.

The slower character will never be equalized at all, it'd be the faster one.

Anyways, until then, cartoon Venom was always going to win the first fight anyways.
The question is if he can get past Sony Venom's regen.
