"The moon is our strength in the darkest nights, and the all-around orchestrator amongst the uncertainty of the darkness, illuminating paths we would have otherwise never seen within the abyss of the night, inspiring us to move forward towards our goals."
"Thus, it is the provider of giant leaps for mankind, and bestows strength upon all warriors below, a symbol of peace and determination despite the intensity of combat, inspiring every one of them, once more, to move towards victory."
Hello all! Welcome to VeneficaAuthor's 3rd Tourney!
As the image and quote suggest, this a 5-C tournament, after the previous Country & Mountain Tiered Tournaments, which were won by Gunnix (Froggy Universe, winner of Country Class) and Asuna Kamakura (Path of Wills, winner of Mountain Level) respectively.
In light of the drama of a couple recent tournaments, this tourney will NOT feature any characters or abilities beyond 5-C. No crosstiering going on here. In addition, every submission will be vetted in a much more in-depth way in order to avoid down-the-road dramas as well as weed out as many possible stomps. However, I'm sure such a thing is inevitable as every tourney seems to have a couple of stomps at minimum. Also, the 'theme' of the tourney being all about the moon is just a reference to this tier being 'Moon Level', characters do not need to have an innate connection to the moon/lunar stuff (although bonus points if they do!). Now, on to the rules!
Rules:
- No time hax, plot hax, fate hax, or any similar power which can completely override a battle. Instant win hax is not permitted and characters with only very specific counters are not permitted either, even if at least one tourney member has said counter.
- 5-C only! Lower-tier characters who have 5-C attacks but aren't 5-C normally aren't permitted.
- Regeneration is allowed to range from Low to Low-High, no higher is permitted.
- All matches have Speed Equalized.
- All matches take place in an endless, empty, flat plain. Zero environmental advantages.
- Hax will be judged on a case by case basis, but be mindful of other submissions. Only submit a character if you feel they have a genuine shot at winning or at least to not get stomped.
- Optional equipment is restricted unless specified.
- The People Fighting start 200 Meters away from each other.
- Hax will be judged on a case by case basis.
- No drama, let's make this a fun tourney. It should embody the spirit of vs matches.
- New rules can be added if necessary.
In general, the hax limits for this tourney are slightly more lenient than the Country Class one as higher tiers usually means higher hax as well. However, again, everything will be significantly more vetted, especially profiles with more stuff they can pull.
