VeneficaAuthor's Country Class Tourney Thread (Low 6-B, 6-B, and High 6-B allowed) (16/16)

Can I have a rundown of what your guy does?
Various Elemental spells, Karmic Judgment, Martial Incarnation, Asura of Slaughter, Intent and Law Comprehension.

All that will be explained later.
Bakuhatsu Magic is basically the same thing as this, just more versatile, lol, it can also harm ghost-like beings (Though it was vaguely stated in chapter 1) and it’s also a spiritual/soul-based thing since every living being has a soul that can generate physical embodiments of the user’s imagination, just with a few limitations, like they have to train to grow their maximum potency of it, you need a good understanding of what you want, etc. Not to mention, if you die, no more soul, and Qi is literally described as the “lifeblood” of everything in a similair way. without it, you die, lol. Verse equalization is also a thing, and Asuna can already use, like, half of the elements that qi can use anyway as well

That aside, Let’s not derail too much. That’s a mighty fine profile you’re cooking there. I’m excited to see where it goes! 👍
Thanks really, but some clarification.

Qi is the flow of the universe itself, it is no mere energy. Qi is the universe, the lowest manifestation of the ultimacy of Dao itself. Even if you ran out of inner qi, you won't really dies as the thing that keep your body alive is Jing. And soul doesn't need qi to nourish itself, shen exist independently of qi and are part of the karmic wheel. You really can't use your soul to cast a spells. Also qi doesn't come from shen. Even if you die, your soul will be taken by the law of Heaven to reincarnate again in the river of time.

Qi cannot be willed without Meridians and Spirit Roots as they are what make a Cultivator can control qi, complex and deep understanding of qi won't do good if your Spirit Roots and Meridians is trash.

Ironically, that last part is also true for Bakuhatsu, just the complete opposite in terms of what happens, but I won’t go into too much detail

I see. That makes a lotta sense, though I don’t find it hard to believe Asuna couldn’t just make pseudo-versions of them instead, given that her own power system is extremely versatile thanks to it’s nature of being a physical manifestation of, well, your imagination, and Qi at it’s core seemingly primarily focuses on elements that Asuna could, and has, learned extremely easily. Qi barriers for example also seem to be very similair to skills like [Absolute Defense] or [Void of Despair], or Azure Lightning Slash is also like [Turbocharge], just that the former is for swords and the latter is for speed, all of which would be fairly familiar as well. Both power systems are pretty alike, surprisingly 👀

That just Cultivator Intent lol.
Cultivator intent, or Yìjìng (意境), is the manifestation of a cultivator's Shen (spiritual essence) and willpower, a force capable of bending reality to their will. Fueled by willpower honed through rigorous cultivation and adversity, intent transcends mere technique, embodying the cultivator's deepest beliefs and desires. It manifests differently depending on the cultivator's specialization, from the devastating Sword Intent (Jiàn Yì 剑意) of sword cultivators to the Elemental Intents (Yuánsù Yìjìng 元素意境) that empower elemental manipulation. Body and Spiritual Intents further demonstrate the versatility of this power, affecting physical bodies and minds alike. The true strength of intent lies in its ability to erode defenses, bypassing physical and magical barriers, even affecting the target's spirit. Countering intent requires opposing it with equal or greater willpower, possessing strong spiritual fortitude, or utilizing protective talismans. Advanced cultivators can combine multiple intents, achieving Intent Fusion (Yìjìng Rónghé 意境融合) for devastating hybrid attacks, or even create a Domain of Intent (Yìjìng Lǐngyù 意境领域) where their will becomes law, manipulating reality to an even greater extent. The strength and complexity of intent are directly proportional to the cultivator's level, reflecting their personality and beliefs, making each manifestation unique and powerful.

Thanks!
Karmic Judgment
  • Karmic Sight (天眼Tiān Yǎn): Huang Tian's gaze reveals the intricate patterns of karma around others. He sees the weight of past actions, the potential for future consequences, and the motivations behind every deed. This sight grants him insight into an individual's character, strengths, weaknesses, and even their hidden potential.
  • Karmic Deduction (因果推演Yīn Guǒ Tuī Yǎn): By observing the flow of karma, Huang Tian can deduce the cause and effect of events. He can trace the roots of current circumstances back to their origins, predicting the likely outcomes of actions. This deduction allows him to anticipate his enemies' moves, uncover hidden truths, and understand the broader implications of his own choices.
  • Karmic Weaponization (业力化刃Yè Lì Huà Rèn): Huang Tian's Karmic Judgment allows him to weaponize karma itself.
    • Negative Karma Accumulation (恶业聚合È Yè Jù Hé): He can gather the accumulated negative karma of his foes, intensifying their karmic burden and manifesting it as powerful attacks. These attacks strike at the core of the target's being, exploiting their weaknesses and past transgressions. The more evil a person's deeds, the more devastating the karmic strike. No one can escape the consequences of their own actions.
    • Positive Karma Empowerment (善业加持Shàn Yè Jiā Chí): Conversely, Huang Tian can draw upon his own reservoir of positive karma, accumulated through virtuous deeds and cultivation. This empowers him with enhanced strength, speed, resilience, and even the ability to manifest unique techniques or abilities. The purer his intentions and actions, the greater the boost he receives.
  • Karmic Resonance (业力共鸣Yè Lì Gòng Míng): In rare cases, when facing an opponent of exceptional karmic weight or purity, Huang Tian can enter a state of Karmic Resonance. This allows him to temporarily synchronize his karma with his opponent's, gaining a deeper understanding of their motivations and even mirroring their abilities. This state can be a double-edged sword, as it also makes him vulnerable to their weaknesses and karmic burdens.
  • Heavenly Sword of Karmic Retribution (天罚业剑): Huang Tian's sword becomes a conduit for karmic energy. With each strike, he not only inflicts physical damage but also severs the threads of negative karma, amplifying the consequences of his opponent's actions.
  • Karmic Sword Intent (业剑之意): Huang Tian's cultivation of sword intent is infused with his understanding of karma. His sword strikes become expressions of karmic justice, guided by an unyielding sense of right and wrong.

I don’t see that on his profile, oddly enough, or maybe I’m just blind. That does show that they are pretty similair in nature if it is there tho, since apparently that still lets him use elements that Qi does, and also a way he can make domains 👀

This part is literally just mana sense and Asuna’s danger sense, lol

Haruka’s empathic manipulation is also similar, just exploits stuff in a different way, their worst fears and just general dread mostly, And Asuna’s speed amps, RE, Power creation & mimicry, etc is also just this lol

Huang Tian can gaze into the karma itself, it's the cause and effects that affect anything that can happen in the universe and anything that exists in the universe. It is the line that intertwined with fate itself. Karma is enforced by the Heavenly Laws and cannot be broken unless by a True Immortal and the Lord of Heaven himself.

Huang Tian can see the past deeds and action of his enemies that caused karma, be it evil, good or neutral. He can also vaguely see the immediate future of a person through their future Karma.

It grant him ability to know what his enemies has done in the past and gained valuable information from it. Causing him to prepare an immediate counter to his enemies abilities that he already know.

Like I said, Huang Tian took the accumulation of negative karma from his enemies past and enforced the already fated effect of their karma in the future to the present. The accumulation of his enemies negative karma will always hit his enemies as that is already fated and is the effect (punishment) of their own cause (the negative karma). A person cannot avoid their karma.

It force the very fate and causality itself to manifest his enemies punishment that will happen from the future into the present using their past negative karma.

The same for Huang Tian positive karma. But it's a reward instead of punishment.

It's admittedly vastly different from Asuna abilities.

It can also destroy a being existence if their negative karma are too heavy.

The vortex intensifies, crushing the enemy's spirit under the weight of their own darkness. Their soul, tainted by evil, is unable to withstand the onslaught. It begins to unravel, consumed by the very negativity they have sown. As their soul crumbles, so too does their karmic debt. This is not merely death; it's a complete erasure, a karmic cleansing. In that moment, they are erased from the cycle of existence, their sins expunged from the cosmic tapestry.

Haven't added it yet.

Could you explain it again in a shorter way
He can see the past karma of a person, which is every deed that is good, evil or even neutral.

Examples in the verse: Huang Tian see a Demonic Cultivator past action that sacrificed an entire mortal village through a demonic technique, causing a negative karma from where he can see that action of the Demonic Cultivator. Making him aware of the Demonic technique.

The rest are basically unavoidable attack if you are an evil person and soul crushing if you are a very horrible person.

It seems like it may be too stompy if there are villains entered into the tourney, it would be very unfair to them and the tourney wouldn’t have an equal shake

Are there other limitations?

Besides the fact that it can't work against good person, it takes time and incantations. And if it already used once, it can't be used again as his enemies negative karma is already resolved.

Anyways Vene your opinions on this gal being in the tourney?

How strong is that danmaku? A High 6-B danmaku could destroy lower tier entrants in the tourney
