If a character with a combat speed of 6 m/s fought a character with a combat speed of 36 m/s, the multiplier would be 6x for speed equalization. If the character has an attack speed of 300 m/s, it gets reduced by the same 6x multiplier down to 50 m/s.

Yeah, even if you could argue that the first part is vague in how speed equalization of "higher" values should be handled, this makes it pretty clear that "higher" values stay higher.

So the Mach 1 character with a mach 10 weapon becomes a subsonic character with a mach 1 weapon under speed equalization.

That thread was made to reevaluate the layers presented at the time. If PM wasn't brought up on it, it's layers are still accepted until a thread is made to revise it.
