V1 SoL???

the lore entry for them refers to their attacks as "heavenly fire" rather than being light based. plus the attack is so heavily telegraphed that i don't think it could be considered anything other than an aim dodge.
Yes, the same "heavenly fire" that is later confirmed as a light attack.

What happens is that first they propose a canonical name for the attack, and then they elaborate on the fact that the attack is genuinely light-based; that can't be ignored.

Something similar happens with Hell Seekers, which are called that, but like other similar projectiles, they are made of Hell Energy.

it's only called a light beam in the strategy section which is less reliable than the data section since it tends to use more video gamey / easier to understand terminology, such as when it calls one of COKM's attacks a "black hole" despite it obviously not being an actual black hole.

The Corpse's black hole shouldn't be ruled out either. Not even Hakita has said or confirmed anything about how they work (whether they have gravity or deconstruction of matter influenced by bosses), but that's another topic I'm neutral on.

The topic is the pillars of light, and the truth is that the strategy section here is more reliable when the description given is consistent.

You can't assume that everything said there is wrong just because another piece of data doesn't specify much. Besides, these attacks themselves behave like light particles in the game.

I remember having this discussion with the other supporters back when the Virtue enemies were first added. I won't paraphrase @theremineater's post, but we ultimately came to the same conclusion. There wasn't enough evidence back then to justify this being real light, but there's also the fact that it's heavily telegraphed and takes ages for the attack to come down, so V1 wouldn't scale to it.

As for the black hole thing, I'm pretty sure it doesn't fit our current standards for real black holes.

I think we can't be sure about classifying black holes unless an official explanation is given.

I remember someone asking Hakita about something related to Hell, and he gave at least an official space-time justification for it.

I know it may be a bit irrelevant, but I would wait for someone to ask him something (or for Hakita to talk about it, which... I highly doubt), it's the only way I think you could get genuine confirmation.

I understand, from what I see the attack is light, but it is somewhat complicated to know if V1 scales to that, because there are also many projectiles that go to SoL in Ultrakill, more or less like the blast of the THR, but I am not sure either.

Do you have a calc for the blast?
Ok, but there are also these calculations from this user, and to be honest, they are very solid, they make a lot of sense to me.

This isn't the THR blast but... I checked out some speed scans and everything points to Gabe being faster than he looks, they're just assuming too much about him but this calculation explains it and supports it pretty congruently.

You would have to get that calced by someone on site and approved by calc group member.
That's why I'm creating this CRT in the first place. There are things I think users who know their math should review.

Likewise, there are users who have more authority over content but don't review it or simply don't take some things into account. I don't have the authority to change anything.

People always make Ultrakill related stuff when i’m not around 💔 like this and that weird thread that tried to scale V1 to Hell for whatever reason

According to the calculation, but this was rejected, definitely getting the SoL in Ultrakill is very tedious
Your link was broken, here’s the correct one.

Its speed section got rejected because the calcer used 1/340 instead of 1/60 for the timeframe.

There’s an accepted calc for it that uses 1/60, you can check Earthmover’s profile or the verse page, it's MHS+.

ok so
I will add that Gabriel cannot use the teleportation he has to cross interstellar distances as we've only seen it in short ranges and isn't his main way of moving when leaving the fight with V1 even putting a barrier between himself and V1 to enter or exit a fight before a second later disappearing.
No idea what this even means, Gabriel's "teleportation" during fights is actually just his sheer movement, as it leaves afterimages. He very clearly uses teleportation to cross interstellar distances and beyond.

Hell isn’t actually universal in size, we have absolutely no concrete evidence to support that, aside from WoGs stating that Hell is an abstract, ever-shifting perception, made up of constantly changing non-euclidean spaces yadda yadda bla, which have nothing to do with its actual "size".

The only proof I can understand is that in some layers there are astral bodies in the sky that can be interpreted as "an observable universe", but even so, more proof is needed to know, Hell eludes the laws of physics completely and literally does whatever it wants with its composition, so it is very confusing.

I think we should expect at least one SoL feat at some point, most of the speed calculations are in Massively Hypersonic, and the rest are purely telegraphed or we just need more tests to know if Virtue's light pillars are real light, because at the moment, there is nothing that makes it clear.

I don't know bro, we can just wait for Ultrakill to be finished and for us to be given more decent physical feats.

The only entity that's supposed to be at a high enough level is The Father *But he's "dead" 🥀
