Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

Ok, I think we might need restrictions to prevent literal immortal tyrants from eternally running the world from the shadows (like, politicians and billionaires should only get 100 years max), but you see the general idea, right?
Anyways, if shit hits the fan - we can still BFR them in submarines and let them implode until there's none of them left

What is UES btw?
Energy is in you
You use energy to punch
You use energy to do magic
More energy = more powerful
Use as much energy as you want
Freeze spell is 9-A
Put more energy into fist than freeze spell = Punch is more powerful than freeze spell
9-A punch = solo other verses

We will be ruled by actual vampires. And it's not even gonna be the sexy kind of vampires.
Suit yourself. I'll be doing just fine as a sewer-roaming nosferatu keeping tabs on everyone.

Ngl, I feel like microplastic is overrated as spice/seasoning. It doesn't taste good at all, idk why people keep putting it in sea food and much more

Question: I keep see people asking to self ban themselves from the site to take a break but why cant they just log out instead of bothering staffs?
I don't see how a simple request to be banned is bothering the staff. Their job on the site is literally just banning people and doing maintenance for pages and threads.

I leave this site and come back without issue because I am based and have self-control.
Not everyone is as based as I am so they have to request bans to be kept away.
The only people who comes close are the CGMs, they use the Calc Eval Cultivation technique to get themsevles burn out of the wiki.

Sorta wish there was a way to make a limitless/infinite VR MMO world where all of fiction and reality as well as anything that can be imagined could be replicated inside of it, feels like it'd be an interesting idea/experience.

mf, that's just a game engine with a quirky theme
Other MediaWiki-using wikis. MediaWiki is the software; the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikipedia's parent company, is the developer.
True (as for the MediaWiki part, I should have corrected that long ago welp, I corrected it now.)
Since we're here though... (Lawyer, you commented on a message 19 pages and 2 (going to be 3 in 2 days) months ago... I mean, thank you for pointing out the error but welp/oof me. 😐😂😅😭)
Sorta want to see a full list of thoughts on every social media platform welp (or every website in general)... or maybe we can just extend it to organisations, associations, etc like companies, corporates, conglomerates, etc (I honestly partially want to also comment on geopolitical stuff but I'm not sure if it's worth it here welp)

Alphabet (Google maker), Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc maker), Snapchat, Fandom, Fextralife, other MediaWiki-using wikis, Valve, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Sony, Nintendo, HP, Lenovo, Panasonic, Samsung, Oppo, Huawei, Xiaomei, etc etc etc.

Just yeet whatever thoughts you have about any Internet and market stuff in general perhaps?
Thoughts on Unreal, Unity, Godot, Adobe Flash, Java, Shockwave, HTML, Ruffle, OpenGL, Source, RAGE, CryEngine, etc/game engines in general in addition to the above?

I think Kaiju no 8 verse is kinda wanked in AP calcs but I don't care enough to try and do anything about it.

So basically the final kaiju was supposed to be responsible for turning Tokyo to ash right? Thing is, it's explicitly based on the Tokyo fires of that time period (mentioned in calc too) and I don't think there's anything that suggests that the whole turning to ash thing wasn't done overtime or the Kaiju wasn't just the reason behind the fires. The catastrophe spreading to the entire world could also mean the same that it's just gonna destroy everything overtime.

If there's a scan that suggests it'd be done in a single strike then that's fine but otherwise I don't get where it's all coming from.

arent the 6-A/6-B values outdated?

I don't even know what should I talk about first - one specific list of a YouTuber, that I kinda disagree with or my pure hatred for the world building of the real life and it's laws

I can predict reasons for the second part, but maybe it's better to rant about the first part (considering how nihilistic, pessimistic, etc the second part is).

Animated series (anime, cartoons etc) wank their characters to the point the whole plot comes down to cosmological bs that doesn't even suit the original plotline they started with. Thus, making them boring asf in the end.

There is this sort of problem with speed ratings where a character would be like

"Hypersonic reactions and combat speed, Supersonic+ with Super Beam" and their Hypersonic rating is because they dodged a Super Beam at point blank range, yet in canon they actually barely dodged the Super Beam, are still threatened by it or gets hit by it.
Yet the speed ratings make it seem like they would dodge Supersonic+ attacks with mid to low difficulty. That's how the character would act in Versus threads as well.

This is tied to this phenomena where action genre creators use point blank dodging often to denote how someone barely dodged an attack but is reinterpreted the complete opposite way when calculated by a powerscaler.
Of course, there are cases where it is a definite speed mogging feat. But nonetheless with the culture we have in powerscaling, the interpretation that gets higher numbers is the one looked on favorably.
