I noticed they're only 2-B because True Reset, but Asriel and Flowey body them.

I think this likely is not the case as The Player views the entire verse as mere fiction. And the argument that "flowey and asriel took away their power!" They are still powerless to reach the Player, nor to even HARM them due to the fact the player treats them as nonsensical fiction..

And another thing to notice is that an Asriel line

"You know... I don't even care about erasing this world anymore.

After I kill you and gain full control over the timeline

I just want to reset everything!"

Frisk and the Player still had control over the timeline. Minimal, but still control.

The argument that Asriel had taken away their entire power is meaningless. The point still stands. They treat them as fiction. Asriel can't reach them. Nor even harm them on that level.

So I think they should be High 2-A for Treating the entire verse as fiction.

I will ask Azathoth about this.

We can't say the Player/Anomaly views the verse as fiction because Chara can still take away their power. If they really saw the game as fiction, that would never have happened.

If any being in Undertale can affect the Player/Anomaly then they do not see it as fiction.

While we are talking about the Player though, can we possibly change their page name to the Anomaly? That was there is no possible confusion over what the Player can do (control Frisk, decide to give Chara Frisk's SOUL), and what the player can do (e.g. editing game files)

The Player isn't the player as "the guy who is playing the game", it's the player as "the mysterious entity that gave Chara their powers". For example, we don't rate The Player (Nintendo) as High 2-A because the real life player sees Giygas as fiction.

That, and the fact that there is no canon way for The Player to get rid of Chara, who is 2-B.

And I wholeheartedly agree with Monarc about renaming it "The Anomaly"

@Azathoth Okay. Thank you for the reply.

@Monarch I will change the title to "The Anomaly" then.

They did it with their consent and in a place where "oh if I do this I can play again so I might as well do it", the player had the choice to say no then do something else

They had the choice to say no then do something else.

They did not have the ability to laugh at Chara and just remake the world anyway.

They needed to give up Frisk's SOUL to restore the world. If they were high 2-A, they could have just done that without needing to give anything to Chara

Not arguing for High 2-A Player, but it's quite possible for Chara to blackmail the Player anyway even with such a high tier difference. Pretty sure that if the game destroyed itself you wouldn't be abe to bring it back without help from the creator. It's possible that the player simply can't do things like create worlds.

The player can't. The player would need help from Toby Fox, or just hacking the game.

The Anomaly on the other hand, if they really were High 2-A, would just be able to recreate the game as they wanted it.

No. You can be High 2-A and be unable to create something lower dimensional. Plenty of characters who are Tier 2 via raw AP rather than feats can't re-create a universe either.

Tier 2 yes. Tier High 2-A, no In order to be High 2-A, you need to be 5-D

A 5-D being could simply write a new world, model a new world, whatever. A lower dimensional world would be fiction to them, and they could change or create that fiction at will.

Being higher dimensional doesn't instantly give you high-level reality warping. At least, not the kind that let you perfectly re-created the world in its finest detail.

Well, Azathoth did not seem to accept a High 2-A The Anomaly.

Calling it the "Player" seems to imply they are actually a real life player, and that they view the multiverse and reality of the game as fiction. So calling them the Anomaly would be far better.
