Ulrich Stern vs Taiga Aisaka

Taiga
Ulrich
Wanted to do a match for lower tiers, this is the best I could come up with. They seem pretty even to me.

Ulrich in real life of course

-Short Teens

-Street Level Dura

-Likely Street Level with katana/bokken (Ulrich did something similar to Taiga punching a hole through a Krab in A Bad Turn, so he should be around Taiga's level with a bokken)

-Athlete Level Power

-High Stamina

-Martial Arts Training

-Both are generally very aggressive fighters

-Both have experience

-Both can use a katana (or bokken, same thing)

-Both fail academically, but are highly skilled fighters.

Seems like a pretty even match to me.

Scenario/Narrative

One day an uber-aggressive-looking girl with a Bokken approached the factory looking for a fight. Jeremy is working on something and cannot be compromised. Jeremy sends Ulrich to talk her out of it, though he brings a Bokken Yumi gave him just in case. He asks that nobody follow him just in case XANA attacks so as to protect Jeremy.

Ulrich and Taiga meet on the bridge. Ulrich tries to talk Aisaka to leave, keeping his guard up since he realizes this girl is pissed off, which proves to be a wise decision. Taiga demands to view the factory for whatever tsundere reason, Taiga attacks Ulrich out of rage. Ulrich clashes her bokken with his own, and shocked by her physical strength, realizes this will require force, drops the kid gloves and fights Taiga with everything he has.

The two fight evenly for several minutes, Ulrich keeps a somewhat cool head and leads the fight deeper into the factory into the corridor so no adults notice, kicking Taiga down the stairs, though she lands on her feat, not hurting her to any extent, but enraging her, and that's where the real fight begins.

Corridor
They fight in the middle section.

Fight is to the KO

Both are in-character but otherwise going all-out. Taiga is crazy-angry due to unknown events and being kicked down, and Ulrich knows he can't let Aisaka view the factory, and must take her down before XANA possibly possesses her (doesn't happen, but basically both are giving it their all)

Who wins and why?

Fight from then on starts between the 2 pillars at the bottom on the pic -->

Ulrich: 3

Taiga Aisaka: 0

Taiga has Peak Human durability and Low Superhuman AP with the sword. She is kind of a glass canon in that regard.

I think it'd be more fair if we assume 10-A for Ulrich and give Taiga her sword. That way she has a chance at chipping his durability and not getting one shot by Ulrich's higher end 9-C. However Ulrich with his superior skill, experience and intelligence would likely still give him the win, but not without a good fight.

They have equal stats if we use certain values for Ulrich's stats so I went with those :/

But anyway, vote counted.

Isn't Ulrich's AP and dura for his high end / "possibly" Low Superhuman?

Taiga only has Low Superhuman AP with sword and Peak Human dura.

pretty much. They have fairly even stats on the whole, except for Ulrich's possible 9-C level. Taiga is rated at street level for dura much like I put Ulrich, so they should be even there.

Basically we're using their values in equal measure.

What I mean is Ulrich has Low Superhuman dura, so unless Taiga has her sword she can't do anything to him. And Taiga has Peak Human dura, so Ulrich could one shot if his high end is used.

That's why I think we should use Ulrich's low end and give Taiga the sword, not that it'd prevent her from losing in my opinion, but would make the fight much more fair.

Alright then. Ulrich will still be 9-C with a weapon however since he did pretty much the same thing Taiga did with one.

Low-ends used now.

This is a pretty good match up, not really sure who would win tbh. Taiga seems to be all around stronger/swifter, but Ulrich seems like a better fighter. Ulrich also has a slight advantage since he knows the environment better, but not much.

I think both sides could win, but Taiga is (apparently) very hotheaded while Ulrich is more calm and collected. Taiga could end up doing something dumb which would give Ulrich an opening to win.

So I'm going with Ulrich w/high diff.

Also, the part of the factory they fight in has no exploitable things, like high ground (huehehehehe) or other objects.

And vote counted.

Ulrich Stern because:

  • Triplicate ability will overwhelm Taiga
  • Better weaponry
  • Better combat intelligence
  • Taiga's weakness of being hotheaded will probably cause her to make a critical mistake.
