Oh so starting distance is 50m and Ubel's Reelsiden has enough range to one-shot??? It's been a while since I read Frieren, it's in character for Ubel to start with Reelsiden right?
 
Scan implies defensive magic can stop it, so whats stopping Gojo from just talking about Infinity and causing it to fail?

Why would Gojo even talk about Infinity? Plus defensive magic in Frieren are really strong, but the point is not the strength, if Ubel believes she's able to cut it then she can cut it, it's about her mentality, and Gojo isn't even aware of how it works and he doesnt even have defensive magic

Cause infinity isn't defensive magic. Ubel killed a first class mage whose cloak was loaded with various defensive spells, defeated a sense's clone whose hair is also loaded with various defensive spells for the sole reason it was just cloth, hair and those are things to be cut.

Even if Gojo talks about infinity, in the end, it's just air in front of her.

Thanks, I can't stop imagining Gojo asking if she can visualize cutting Infinity, and before he even gets a chance to finish his sentence he realizes she cut all his hair off and made him bald.

Honestly his breath alone could vaporize Ubel since he's much stronger, he also could use Domain or whatever, so Gojo also has his wincons, Ubel is just built different
 
Ubel is pretty busted. We might have a pretty strong Top 10 8-A character due to the thought based neg.
But Ubel takes this.

This, the thing with Gojo is not that he is too durable to be hurt, is that things can't reach him because of the infinite slowing/division effect, so unless the attack can affect the itself space there's just nothing to cut. Also, people acting as if even without Infinity Gojo just doesn't one-shot.
 
I will make a indeep comment since this was a fra train over a meme

I don't think Ubel can bypass Infinity because it's not a physical defense, it's a space that makes the attack infinitely slower to not reach Gojo and not some kind of shield.

Ubel's slash is not instantaneos, it does not ignores distance of wathever, it's a slash that needs to travel, similar to Sukuna's (with the only difference being that Ubel's can ignore durability)

Not only that but it's not as if Gojo would stand still and allow to get hit. SBA assumes that both wants to win no matter what

Against a fodder he started with a long range BLUE and destroyed both arms and legs
Against Hanami he started with a PURPLE from longe range
Against Toji (first round) he tried to keep distance with MAXIMUM BLUE
Against Toji (second round) he used RED feom far away
Against Sukuna he used PURPLE from 4 km away

And so on

And Ubel's Reelsiden will ignore infinity. That's the reason everyone FRA'd her winning and not because of some meme. One thing for sure is Gojo is always confident that attacks will not touch him so he is less likely dodge just cause she uses slashing attacks. He also isn't some skill god who will dodge everything and Ubel also has sorganeil to paralyse him.

It's WCS all over again but rather than cutting space it ignores infinity

Do you have any proof of that? Most of mages can dodge it without problem with nothing but sheer movement. How could a movement dodge such technique but a space the slow downs everything can't hold it? It's not a instantaneos movement, it does not have infinite speed, it does not spawn on target, it's just a generic slash that ignores durability

That's a big lie, plus SBA makes both want to win no matter what. He can just put some BLUES arond Ubel and she will lose her libs in a instant

The only instance where Gojo allowed one to hit him to show off was against Jogo

Do not say that as if Frieren was a verse with skill gods. Everything there is pretty basic.
 
If Ubel can think she can cut through infinity, she just does it. That's just thought based hax at it's finest.

yeah no the cut is not reaching gojo. Ubel doesn't know about infinity so she would just imagine cutting gojo. Problem is the cut would never reach said character gojo

how exactly will it ignore infinity? ubel definitely doesn't know infinity exist so she is not going to believe she can cut something she doesn't even know is there. Now if gojo explains the reason the cut doesn't reach it just makes it worse. NO way in hell anyone is convincing me ubel can imagine herself cutting infinite space or is infinite space now meant to be cut?

Her cutting ignored any logical reasoning, because she was the measure in her sense. She could cut through Gojo's infinity just by thinking that Gojo had nothing to protect him, even if Gojo explained the power of infinity to her, or even showed her aura of power, she wouldn't care. Similarly, she cut Sense's hair without caring what magical power it had. She just thought it was a normal hair, and her Rw would work, and that hair would be normal to her. She could do this to Gojo's infinity just by thinking that it had nothing to protect Gojo.

And the other mages' dodging isn't that important, because she just lets them dodge her attacks. Since Ubel has Sorganeil, which can stop movement and stop mana flow, that means that as long as she has line of sight of someone (full body vision), she can use Sorganeil to stop their movement and use Reelseiden to cut them off as she pleases.

Literally stood still against Jogo till he started wailing on him and toys with those weaker than him. The only time he actively tries to dodge is after he finds out they have a way to counter infinity.

Gojo: confident infinity will stop the attack of a fodder, f*cks around and finds out. Depending on how close the slash is by the time he notices it ignored infinity, it's too late to dodge. There's also sorganeil
 
Yeah voting Gojo, I doubt something as mundane as that can bypass Infinity. You kinda have to have Spatial Manipulation at the very least
