It was in the confrontation inside of the fortress where he pummeled a clone of him if I recall correctly.

Plus Knuckles has the mobility advantage to attack from the underground without Zavok noticing. (I dunno about who has the higher scaling chain though)

Yes, he currently defeated a copy of Zavok with two punches, but Ruby copies dissolve easily, I don't think is possible to compare the resistance to attacks between fake zavok and real zavok

if you take Shadow's statement about those clones being as formidable as the originals, then it would make sense for this scenario.

Pretty sure Knuckles takes this pretty handily, he's not as fast as Sonic but he's physically stronger to make up for it and he should still be faster and more mobile than Zavok anyways. He also greatly outhaxes if it comes down to it. Knuckles Low-Mid Diff

But I think only on attack, on defense they vanish with any hit, at least the ones created by Infinite (true ruby ones last longer I think)
