Transformers General Discussion

So where exactly does a member of the Alternity's true form's size encompassing multiple parrallel worlds come from? The source just goes to a TFWiki interpretation of "From Here to Alternity", but having read the Alternity stories myself I don't see much to suggest it

That isn't a tfwiki interpretation, that's a translation of Alternity Optimus' bio that TFWiki has archived. It's direct canon information. TFW2005 also has had their own translation up for years that aligns with it https://toys.tfw2005.com/convoy-nissan-gtr-vibrant-red-3227

Ah okay, then I feel some information change would be needed since the scan for this on the Alternity profiles go to a TFWiki translation with no evidence attached to it, so I feel like swapping the links could help.

Can somebody please provide me the scans detailing that Unicron embodies what he devours? (As detailed on his VSBW Profile)

@Emirp sumitpo Hi, I had missed this thread but wanted to talk to you about this point in particular

first note is that in Primeval Dawn the Vok outright say Unicron would be able to destroy every plane of existence in the omniverse (they state his agents are a "virus on the omniversal structure" and then give Sentinel Maximus a vision of "destruction that spans every plane of existence, every divergent reality" so this does apply to even the sealed Unicron and Primus

second note is AVP does mention timelines having an "uncountable infinity of modalities" to exist in when they refer to the Megatron X stuff from the Beast Wars N64 game. Now Vector does say these universes tend to "snap into one of 12 quantum end-states" however, we know both from Forest Lee and countless in-universe statements including from Primus, that all possible versions of universes exist, and that per Forest Lee the multiversal singularities experience all of them, even the short lived ones that we never get to see.

The issue is I have no clue how this meshes with VSB's current tiering system, I have seen Ultima talk about how certain cardinalities of even standard universes would be equivalent to some of the Tier 1s, but it's not something I have a good grasp on currently.

Also I agree with the Cloud downgrades, but in general outside of Primus and Unicron related stuff, I tend to be very conservative with my scaling

I know you weren't asking me, but I'm pretty sure that this is already accounted for since the Multiverse as a whole is considered 18-D to 22-D due to the fact there are an uncountably infinite number of 17-D to 21-D universes.

Q: Dear Vector Prime,

Who or what exactly is Megatron X, the Transformer who appeared in a version of the Beast Wars? Also, how does one categorize universes where there are multiple outcomes?

.
.
A: Dear Dimensional Inquisitor,

Megatron X has seldom appeared outside of Primax 1099.01-N6 Kappa or Primax 700.12-N4 Kappa. Both universes are highly, highly volatile. To put it mildly, they exist in a state of constant flux, with the probabilities churning through multiple resonance patterns and flipping from one state to the next to the next.

Interestingly, though there are an uncountable infinity of modalities for these universes to exist in, they tend to unerringly snap into one of twelve stable quantum-hyperwave endstates. Though I myself do not find it necessary to catalog each of these outcomes, I imagine Rhinox would choose to label them I through XII. Thus, one could travel to Primax 700.12-N4 Kappa IV, where Tigatron and Airazor are able to live blissfully together. Or one could examine Primax 1099.01-N6 Kappa XI, where Tarantulas led a battle fleet to prehistoric Earth, leading to disastrous consequences.

It is this very instability which attracted the Vok, agents of whom created Megatron X as an emissary, enhanced in the image of the most potent active spark in the conflict. In another timestream, the Vok would similarly create Tigerfalcon.

What is curious to me is that, despite many similarities between the aforementioned universes and the dimensions of Primax 1099.01-PS Kappa and Primax 700.12-SP Kappa, similarly chaotic realities, the Vok have never to my knowledge shown any interest in these realities. Perhaps this is because the latter reality-matrices have only two stable quantum-hyperwave endstate, compared to the dozen from the former.

Vector talks here about universes that each have an 'uncountable infinity' of variations, just for these single timelines.

What makes it significant is despite the 'stabilizing into one of 12 end-states' thing we have so many statements including one directly from Primus during Universe that all possible versions of the universe exist. We have direct statements from Forest Lee that even for splinter timelines that exist only for an instant, Multiversal singularities experience them. So from a cosmological standpoint these alternates are valid.

There's also Regeneration One establishing universes having both infinite pasts and futures but that's largely irrelevant due to the more significant AVP stuff.

theres a high hyper+ scale too.

Where exactly are you scaling this, given how we were talking about the same scan.

For anyone who's keeping track of the Energon Universe, at least for Robert Kirkman's books (Void Rivals and Transformers from issues 25 and beyond), it is important to remember this

Also you guys should read Void Rivals, it is, overall, my favourite long length book of the EU (My favourite book is Cobra Commander if anyone is curious)
