Gladion gets Silvally and access to all of the RKS Memory System. The version of Goku he will be battling is from the 23rd Budokai. Goku has access to the Power Pole and no Nimbus or flight. Speed equalized. All that said, who wins?

Goku seems to have the edge here with AP, more versatile ways to utilize ki, flight, afterimages, being able to adapt to certain situations pretty fast, and much more combat experience than Gladion.

Actually at the point of the 23rd Budokai I don't believe Goku has flight. It doesn't show up anywhere on his OG Dragon Ball page. As for the afterimages, I don't know how much of an issue that'd be for Silvally. Silvally is MFTL+ in terms of speed. As for AP, they're both right around Small Country level, with Silvally possibly having Planet level AP.

There. Changed the rules. Flight would give Goku too much of an edge with speed equalized and Silvally's massively higher speed would utterly annihilate Goku without speed equalized. Now that the new rules are in place, I've still gotta give my personal edge to Gladion. Silvally has the RKS System, which with all of the elements Silvally can gain from it would give him a huge variety adavantage. And their AP is pretty much the same, so I say Gladion has this.

Their AP is not the same since Goku's AP is higher than Gladion. Also you can't vote in a vs thread that you made, otherwise you're showing bias, which you're not supposed to do. Also restricting abilities is going to make the match not get added since it's against the rules.

Read the last part of the Versus Thread Rules:

"It is fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup. However, matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case the match can be added."

It isn't against any rules to restrain abilities. It's only against the rules to take a thread that restricts abilities and add it to the characters' profiles. So in this case, the match just won't be added. Also, I'm well aware of a the poster of a thread not being able to vote on the matchup. That's why I'm waiting to actually tally anything.

Well variety isn't going to do much when he's fighting someone with more combat experience and higher AP.
