Toph (and everyone she scales to) upgrade

https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/847586

I think this thread was unfairly shut down before the person who made it had a chance to even explain further. The point of the official statement about the mine isn't that Toph scales to Hulk (obviously), but it gives an official weight to the mine she held up for an extended period of time, that being 150 billion tons.

And in case anyone has doubts that this statement exists, here's a picture of the statement in the book itself: http://i.imgur.com/6h1VTii.jpg

The point is that you can calc the DC required to hold something of this weight and potentially scale it to a lot of characters on a similar level of bending.

The closing of the thread was likely due to a misunderstanding. I agree, just comparing a feat to a feat done by Hulk is not grounds for instantly locking without a proper discussion.

I'm not really comfortable with using the WoG statement for the mass, but I'd be willing to calculate the feat if you can tell me what comic it's from.

Also, it's important to note that the calc itself is a low end, and it's already partially incorrect as is.

Lifting can generate Potential Energy and in some cases, decent Kinetic Energy so it can be used to solidify attack potency.

Just based on that calc above alone, the manga says here that Toph was also lifting the iron ore that was underneath the earth.

Hematite, the main ore of iron, has a density of 5260kg/m^3, so the result could be greater, if we knew how much iron ore she was lifting.
