Titan vs Edwin Maingate (0-0-0)

I might as well list out the stat gaps

Titan:
  • 2.289854769x stronger
  • Superhuman vs Peak Human stamina
Edwin:
  • 9.931673755x higher lifting strength (I think?)
  • Genius vs possibly Above Average combat IQ

Alright. so titan has a few advantages:
AP, Stamina, And physical range are much higher for Titan, but Edwin has Intelligence and LS.
So it comes down to abilities:
Edwin has:
  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics
  • Platform Creation (Can create star shaped platforms which allows Edwin to walk midair. Edwin has also used these stars for other purposes during his fight with Kobloco, using them to clog the cannon of the Redscalian Tank Ship that the alien tried to hide away on.)
Titan has:

Titans Physical range is higher then Edwin's too

I feel like Edwin has it. His much smaller size makes him a harder target to hit and his platform creation is both much more concrete than the Titan's pseudo-flight but is also multi purpose, with him also using it as a projectile in the comic. And, if push came to shove, his LS advantage makes it so that he won't really be caught in any binds, holds, or crushes that Titan may attempt.

Titan does NOT struggle with small targets. He casually hits smaller then human character (Sure the guy was standing still, but first try grasp on him is pretty impressive). and hit a moving smaller character here

Those guys are like half his size (6ish meters). Here, he's fighting someone nearly 1/6th of his size and is someone who likely won't stay still all too much against an opponent like Titan.
The small guy is 3 feet, the green guy is like 8. its kind of inconsistent but idrc.

Well, still, trying to grab Edwin won't be very viable due to him being able to out-LS and escape Titan's grip pretty easily, and the AP gap isn't so big that Titan only needs one hit to win.

Titan can still hit him multiple times. Speed is equalized after all

Gonna throw my hat in on this after consuming the source material from both of these guys :3

Yeah, Edwin definitely has the lean here. He has the advantage in every stat minus AP and Stamina (but that shouldn't matter too much, Edwin still has peak human values and Titan's AP advantage is only a bit over 2x). Edwin has quite the fair combat IQ advantage over Titan, and far better feats (Edwin defeated the general of an alien army very easily and barely left the fight with a scratch on him, meanwhile Titan smushed 2 guys and got multiple stab wounds). He can also escape being crushed (Titan's main shown starting move) via his LS advantage. Axorandom's earlier talks about Edwin being hard to hit is good bonus reasoning as well. I don't see any good ways that Titan could win this :0

should I count this as a vote?

We should point out that these were all just barely breaching his skin, and the ones that did are negligible to him. he had to literally look at it to notice it.
The entire sword got shoved into his body, unless his skin is several feet thick that thing definitely penetrated into organs or something :0

The knives only. The sword was only half way. And if those penetrated organs. Then that just makes the fact that he mostly ignored it apart from looking at it even more impressive
