So T. Rex is at the power disadvantage though it's sheer size gives it the range to make up for this, especially when it has the lifting strength to completely neg Hobbes if it gets a hold of him. Given SBA they start within the dinosaur's range rather than Hobbes' which puts him at quite the disadvantage so the way I see this playing out is the Rex lunges forward and either grabs him to begin tearing him apart or misses and takes a hard hit to the head that it can easily bounce back from given its used to fighting animals within its own weight class before leveraging its greater reach to seal the deal.

To be totally fair Hobbes isn't exactly tiny either (Almost 3 meters). And his toon force paired with agility would make it extremely difficult for the Rex to land a shot.

Also if a rex falls over isn’t it borderline Impossible for them to get back up? Because could’ve sworn I read that somewhere

A stuffed Tiger having an AP advantage over a dinosaur? 💀. This is going to be a funny match up. Considering even if you multiply a human's height by 1.5 times, Hobbes is still going to be smaller than a T. Rex.

I can't tell if making this image bigger, or smaller is going to do justice to the fact that Hobbes is virtually, 3/5 the dino's height

Ok. First thing's first, how do we know Hobbies isn't going to freeze in terror in-character, infront of a dinosaur bigger than himself? Does he have any wincons or way to use his agility and toon force advantage?

If we go by how he reacted when they saw an imaginary dinosaur he would be scared but not “freeze in terror” scared. His toon force allows him to hid behind stuff like a super skinny lamp and change direction midair so nothing mind blowing but that level of agility could definitely be a problem.

Okay, so we're pitting a real-world animal against Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes... Okay, let's get this over with.

First of all, despite the KE rating given for its tackles, it should be noted that the T. Rex weighs 4.5 to 14 tons. Included in that weight range is the weight of African Elephants. African Elephants weigh a good 5-6 tonnes and have killed rhinoceroses, whose KE rating is well above what Hobbes is toting.: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/White_Rhinoceros

Asian elephants are smaller at around 4 tonnes and yet a group of three had demolished a wall just as tall as they are, keep in mind that they didn't charge into the wall. They just pushed it! There are even reports of drunken elephants mowing down homes in India.

A low-end T. Rex would match the strength of an elephant and a high-end T. Rex can probably do what it took three elephants to do on its own. Hobbes lacks the superpowers you'd expect a cartoon character to have in order to deal with particularly dangerous threats, so I don't see any way how Hobbes is winning this.

Hobbes could just use his agility and defacto AP advantage to do hit-and-run stuff on the T. Rex. And mind the KE, that's just based on a combination of mass and speed. Elephants are faster than a literal T. Rex. That means the Elephant's strength is higher quality than a T. Rex's.

And it's pretty much common sense that if a T. Rex decided to charge at your house at full sprint, it would effortlessly demolish some walls in your own home.

Is it still possible to a fair extent for the T. Rex to... bite Hobbes and crush the poor guy in its teeth at this point?

Considering the wiki typically automatically assumes that AP and durability ratings are one in the same... I don't think so.

And I gave the calc a thumbs up.
UUUHUUUUUU!!

The calc is directly to his ap bruh
What about piercing damage in the bite? Hobbes' body is virtually fluffy.
If You want to try and get the N/mm² a T-rex teeth during a bite has, go ahead, but ye, Hobbes with a 41x Ap advantage probable can tank It
