I understand how the The World part attaches to DIO. But where does ST fit in that name? Anyway, depends on at what point in the series DIO is at. If it's during part 3 but before DIO's World, then DIO dosn't know what a car is.

He's been alive for a year at that point and he spent most of his time reading books. DIO isn't behind on technological advancements since Phantom Blood.
