Vol 5's translation has started so I was reminded the verse still needed a revision.

1. AP

So far the strongest characters are stuck at MCB due to Beatrice and Armelina being stated to be capable of destroying an entire section of the inn town with their attacks if they fought seriously.

From Vol 1:

Yes. Looking at nothing but strength, Beatrice or Armelina could overwhelm Elkiad with their Magic. If they wanted to, they could blow away this entire section of the town.

From Vol 3:

When she swung down her metal staff, a bolt of lightning followed it down. No, it was a massive hunk of metal. A weapon colossal enough to mistake for a meteor or asteroid caused the ground to sink down by more than 70cm. This was more than just the snow. The solid ground itself sank.

Rusalka could not follow it down, so she remained in the air. She desperately twisted her supple hips, but she could not produce a significant motion vector without her feet on the ground.

"Wha-!?"

Shooting Star.

Armelina had taught herself a few pieces of Magic for linking her maps with sensors because she had wanted some targeting support to help this major technique hit. It had ultimately not been much help, but even if she could not hit her target, she still had ways of using it without hitting them. After all, its destructive power could sink the ground by more than a meter over an area the size of a school campus.

But there's significant evidence that Beatrice, Wildefrau and Break News level fighters should be on the Tier 7.

Wildefrau can casually envelop an entire mountain in a blizzard

From Vol 3:

"First and foremost, this blizzard is being controlled by the Ice Waterfall Princess. The entire area is more than 10 below 0 and some kind of heat insulation is preventing my Magic from warming us. That means 'waiting it out' isn't an option."

[...]

None of this process was necessary for the Ice Waterfall Princess. She could indeed send a blizzard across the entire mountain without ever appearing before them.

Beatrice's large-scale spells cover up several kilometers of ground and are said to be on the level of a volcanic eruption.

From Vol 1:

The massive collection of fire resembled a forest fire and it approached at over sixty kph. Instead of burning an individual, it filled a space several kilometers across. Instead of defeating someone, it swallowed them up. This Magic reached warlike overkill levels that far exceeded what was needed to explore the Labyrinth.

[...]

(To gain the advantage of the field effect, I started by covering the entire area with flames for kilometers around us.)

From Vol 4:

Filinion had to be counted out, but Beatrice, Armelina, and Wildefrau all charged in toward Sibyl from different directions so they could not be targeted. And that included the Holy Swordswoman, who could fill a kilometers-wide field with hellfire on the level of a volcanic eruptio, and the Ice Waterfall Princess, who could create a hell of absolute zero where even the air skipped past its liquid form and froze. With that much force in such a cramped space, not harming their allies was more difficult than defeating their enemy.

Wildefrau has a vague feat of freezing large underground lava chambers that DontTalk calced to be Small City level. This would scale to Beatrice and fit Beatrice being able to somewhat fight and injure people like Boo Boo, who also need an upgrade.

It also fits with a new feat who was just translated. Three nameless humans enemies combine their magic to create a railgun that blows away a nearby mountain after being deflected and weakened by Boo Boo. This was a letdown for their leader, as the technique was intended to be powerful enough to destroy the entire island of Ground's Nir.

According to this, destroying a small mountain should be Small City level.

From Vol 5:

"Alpha Eight, barrel. Alpha Nine, shell. Alpha Twelve, sight."

"Wait…is he commanding them!? Is he messing with the shared settings of their Shining Weapons to manage…no, combine their group Magic!?"

"Data link established. Begin combined action."

Electricity surrounded a giant pillar of steel as it rushed toward Boo Boo's belly.

Multiple Elements of Magic had been combined to create this extraordinary fortress-breaking railgun.

That giant body spun into the air, flew in a tailspin, and smashed into the ground without being able to soften the impact. And yet that had not been a direct hit; he had to have diverted it a bit with this Shining Weapon. The deflected shell tore into the slope of a distant mountain and blew it away.

"Hm. According to our calculations, that should have obliterated the entire island, but it seems I was right that an artificial one cannot match the ideal specs. We need to make some adjustments to its sturdiness."

Boo Boo, the Break News and others who scale to them need an upgrade. Break News are mentioned to be capable of altering the landscape of the island.

From Vol 2:

Beatrice returned to Ground's Nir.

It was a small island, but she enjoyed the freedom there. A Break News would occasionally go on a rampage and significantly alter the landscape, but it was generally a peaceful and simple world.

The Thousand Dragon, the weakest Break News, slices off the top of a mountain with a casual attack.

From Vol 2:

It was not the human inn town behind them. It came from the exact opposite direction: the snowcapped peak of one of the mountains the dragon was fast approaching.

"What…? So fast! How!?"

The Succubus gasped, but the 1000-meter dragon did not wait around.

She opened her mouth wide and used her ultra-pressurized water breath to slice through her target along with a mountain peak.

It was cut down to size.

One of the Break News, Kallikantzaros, can submerge the entire island in a flood, which was calced to be City level low end by DontTalk. This fits both with the Small City level the previous calc gives to Beatrice and Wildefrau and with this statement of Sutriona about a fight between Break News being able to blow away half the island (which as mentioned by DontTalk in the comments of Kallikantzaros calc, would also be a City level feat).

From Vol 2:

"L-Lady Sutriona! Can't you help Boo Boo with your power!?"

"Are you sure you want two Break News colliding head-on? And if I was going to do that, this is a bad location. If I didn't guide it further out to sea, we could easily blow away half the island. And I doubt that dragon will be so easily lured at the moment."

If further proof is needed the verse reaches City level, vol 5 (which is still being translated) involves a giant sea monster large enough to be capable of devouring the entire Ground's Nir island.

From Vol 4:

In the middle of the night, the dark ocean split apart and a giant structure emerged. It was large enough to swallow Ground's Nir whole and it looked like a marine creature, specifically like a rotting shark or orca.

From Vol 5:

Even though it would take three days to walk the perimeter, the entire island could be swallowed whole by what they saw. That far-too-giant thing was a massive marine lifeform that looked like a half-rotted shark or killer whale. It had run aground with such force it seemed to be trying to devour the beach and the blood gushing from its rotten cross-sections was what they had originally noticed. It glowed with a bright and sinister light, just like magma erupting from a wound in the ground.

2. Speed

Regular-ass humans are said to have magic boosting their AGI (speed) by 500%, and you can stack this kind of boosts.

From Vol 1:

He had forty Commands for pre-registered Magic. He had more than fifty for the Percentage-type that increased his Parameters. One increased his STR by 200%, one his AGI by 500%, one his LUC by 150%, and many more. His muscles, skeleton, and organs remained human, but his clenched fist could slay a tiger and he could singlehandedly defeat a mid-sized Chimera if he used his Shining Weapon.

[...]

Even if those enemies looked like slender humans, their strength was thoroughly amplified by Percentage-type Magic: STR +300%, VIT +800%, AGI +500%, etc. They were supposedly strong enough to slay a tiger or defeat a bear with their bare hands, but that was irrelevant to Boo Boo.

[...]

With the support of the Percentage-type Magic that formed their clothing, they could produce enough strength to slay a mid-level Chimaera or Griffon barehanded, but that was only placing a percentage modifier on their original body's ability. If it was STRx200%, it would double their strength. It could sound cruel, but if your base value was low, equipment with a high percentage modifier would be wasted on you. For that reason, increasing one's base strength could not be taken lightly.

They regularly fight superhuman monsters. Harpies, which are considered non-impressive by Ground's Nir standards, are said to be fast enough they can't be hit by bullets. Since the strongest characters only have supersonic+ reactions, this should be interpreted as harpies being fast enough that baseline humans can't line up a shot.

From Vol 2:

A Harpy was a Nonhuman that looked like a human woman with large bird wings for arms, and they did not stand out much compared to Dragons or Griffons. But that was only when you were protected by Magic. This was like running across a bird of prey more than 10 times as strong as a large eagle. A handgun bullet would not reach it and the talons of its legs could tear through a steel door like wet paper.

This would make the baseline humans "at least Superhuman" in speed for dealing with monsters like that and multiplying their original human speed by at least 5 (Several of these humans are already expert soldiers in Earth prior to the boosts)

Beatrice is one of the strongest level cappers. She's much stronger than a newbie level capper, and vastly stronger than the baseline humans mentioned earlier, who are just mooks to her and people in her level. She also has a Subsonic feat where she kicks someone through a wall in a crowded room without nobody else seeing her move, not even Filinion, another strong level capper stronger than baseline humans who was next to her.

From Vol 1:

The red Holy Swordswoman had slammed her fist down on the table, scattering the false diagram everywhere.

"Let's take this outside."

No one was able to perceive what happened next. Not the silver Pure Knight, not his followers, not the other guests nervously watching on, and not even White Witch Filinion at the same table as Beatrice.

They heard an explosive sound after a short delay and suddenly realized one of the inn's brick walls had crumbled and the Pure Knight had been thrown out onto the stone-paved road like an artillery shell.

It took a full second before he realized he had been kicked.

The issue here is that she's later injured by muskets created by another guild, but a Subsonic character being hit by a Subsonic attack shouldn't be enough to remove her feat. Not to mention she can fight and react to the movements of Boo Boo, Disaster and other Break News/Boo Boo-level fighters. She and others scaled to her should be upgraded to Subsonic speed.

The Break News, some of the strongest characters of the series are scaled to a Supersonic+ feat of Thousand Dragon, who's stated to be the weakest one. However, I don't think this should scale to the movement of others. Sutriona and Ileana, stronger Break News than her, are fought by people in the Subsonic range (and Ileana's sound attacks are a threat to strong characters, and those are definitely sound speed, so no fiction excuse there).

The Supersonic+ characters besides the Thousand Dragon should be downgraded to "Subsonic with Supersonic+ reactions". This fits the series more, as that's Boo Boo's speed which is well established by now.

I think that this seems reasonable.

Nice! Their striking strength would remain the same though right? As its only their magic that has been stated to be that powerful.

Yes. The building level feat of Krakens is the best physical strength feat until you get to the top tiers (Break News-tier fighters) so the physical strength of almost everyone else remains "at least Building level".

If you get no further input while I am away, you can probably start changing the profiles.

Thanks. I'll give it a day or two to see if someone has something to say against the upgrades/downgrades.
