chemical bombs would probably kill of 90% of the mages since most of them are just enhanced superhumans and cant fly. the dragons are the main issue

So from what I'm gathering so far, bio warfare ganks most humans, but things like the dragons and demons can probably take the US down.

Demons are debatable, but the only things capable of hurting a dragon is another dragon. And even weaker dragons can wipe the floor with City-level wizards

@Byaku Dragons I would say yes theres no reason i can think of that it wouldn't, for Demons that line is a bit blurrier but I would still say yes

EDIT: dragons still have to be actually hit though, or just fly through radiation zones fully unaware of it

yeah etherion is a thing, and it is certainly devastating, but keep in mind, can they react fast enough? for example, what if all the people capable of deciding to use etherion got hit with nuclear weapons with the intel the US gathered with the 1 month prep?

It does not really matter whether it is only the United States or the whole world. Our humanity has only nuclear, chemical and biological weapons to deal with tier 7 or above characters. So the result depends only on whether this will be enough to win.

I don't believe there is any characters over Tier 7 from fairy tail. and shouldn't stuff like radiation ignore durability to a extent? I mean you don't just "tank" it.

Nuke's have different powers, he can only block some Nukes.. others would completely decimate him.
